The most physically uncomfortable shoot I’ve probably ever done, but still one of the most gratifying. It’s outrageously important to me, in my “career” to diversify as a model and insist on, when possible and appropriate, creating images that go beyond “oh look, there’s a cute chick with tattoos”. Creatively as an artist, it’s a pleasure to partake in a project where each aspect of an image equally shines, photography, lighting, wardrobe, makeup, composition and subject…each part important, no aspect overpowering the other but all necessary and harmonious, a picture that’s not about “the model” - it’s about EVERYTHING. That feels quite lovely.
